Former comptroller and auditor general “Vinod Rai” stated that gold worth Rs 186 crore in the form of 769 gold pots are not traceable. Even having the full security they disappeared. In the report, he stated that for this gold, they have given serial no 1 to 1988 but at present, they are only 397.according to a calculation made by the committee they melted 822 pots of gold for ornaments purpose balance 1166 pots of gold should present.
