1. Who is Chinnamasta?

Chinnamasta is one of the dashamahavidyas and incarnations of Goddess Parvathi. She is also known as Prachanda Chandika. She is the symbol of transformation. Goddess Chinnamasta is a tantric goddess and is worshipped in kaulachara path. Usually she appears with her severed head in her hand and three blood streams springing out of her neck, with her consorts drinking it from two streams and she drinking her own blood stream with the head in her hand. She appears this fearsome always. She is also known as Vajra Yogini or Varjavairochani.
