(Worship Hindu Deities). మున్ముందుగా అవి విగ్రహాలనే భావన వదిలేసి అక్కడ జీవ చైతన్యమూర్తి నిలబడి (కూర్చుని) ఉందనే భావనను పెంచుకోవాలి. ఆపైన ఆ దేవతామూర్తికి సూటిగా ఎదురుగా కాక ఒకింత పక్కకు జరిగి, ఇతర భక్తులకు ఇబ్బంది కలగని రీతిలో నమస్కరించుకోవాలి. సాష్టాంగ వందనం చేయదలుచుకుంటే వాహనమూర్తి వెనక్కు వెళ్లి చేసుకోవాలి. ఇలా చేసేటప్పుడు తన పాదాలు అక్కడున్న ఇతర దేవతా విగ్రహాలకు ఎదురుగా రాకూడదు. అలా వచ్చేటట్లుంటే ఆచోట సాష్టాంగ వందనం మాని, కరపుటాలతో అంజలీకరణ నమస్కారమే చేసుకోవాలి (చేతులు జోడించి నమస్కరించాలి).
