The DGP also disclosed that a show-cause notice was also issued against a television channel which repeatedly telecast his interview leading to a tense situation and hurting sentiments of a section of society.
Telangana police have externed Kathi Mahesh, a film critic, for six months from the State capital of Hyderabad for his alleged comments on Ramayana which hurt the sentiments of people leading to a potential threat to the law and order situation in the State, the State police chief M. Mahendar Reddy disclosed at a press conference here on Monday.
