2. The depiction of Matangi ammavaaru
Matangi is dark green in complexion with healthy bust youthfulness. She holds Manikya Veena in her hands just like Goddess Saraswathi does. She has a parrot in her hands which symbolises power of speech. Sadhana of Matangi ammavaaru energises Throat chakra or Vishuddha chakra which purifies physical and astral bodies. Her sadhana removes all the pollution and impurities that are present in our body and brain. Makes us fresh like a new born baby, the state in which we can learn whatever that comes across us.
