1. Mantra – Safeguards on being chanted
Mantra is a combination of some mystic seed syllables, combinations of syllables, sometimes compound syllables and names of our gods and goddesses. It is a powerful formula to draw in the aspects of divine energies and channelize them through us. A mantra is what saves us from the illusions of this world and let us see or realize the ultimate truth. As we already know, a mantram consists of different kinds of syllables. Om is the most common syllable and is primordial sound. No mantra exists without the samputi or adjoining of syllable Om either as a prefix or suffix. Other seed syllables or beejaksharas are placed in particular order to harness energies of particular deities.
Let us see what are those beejaksharas.
