India is indeed a Hindu nation, however, it gave place and equal importance to all the religions. Our country even respected people of Islam who chose to live here as a result of many invasions.

India also possesses a great history and bears a name, Peace Loving Nation. India never invaded any other country for thousands of years. Hinduism is in fact not a religion and it is living life the best way possible.

It is a life style. We have a lot of religious scriptures in which Ramayana is said to be Aadikavya, the first and foremost written epic.

And it tells about a great personality. The name which comes to mind when thought of a king, a lover, a great abdicator, a charming warrior prince and a great strategist is of just four letters.

That name has been ringing in the ears of Hindus for thousand ears, inspiring generations after generations for ages and stood an example for an ideal man. He is none other than Lord Rama.

Ayodhya Ram Janma Bhoomi

Very important place connected to Rama is Ayodhya, the place where he took birth along with his three brothers, Lakshman, Bharata and Shatrugna.

The place is situated in the banks of Sarayu river. Archaeological history of the place says that in 7th century itself there were new temples but built by occupying the sites of ancient temples which were destroyed by muslim invaders.

Many then travelers who visited India found the strong base of Jainism there. However, some fragments recovered there tell about the construction of Lord Vishnu’s temple.

Archaeological Survey of India conducted excavations there and found out pillar bases belonged to a larger building than Babri Mosque. The actual evidence was concealed and kept away from the reach of common people.

Today, December 6th, in the year 1992 the demolition of Babri Mosque happened. More than 150, 000 Hindu activists brought the building down with their anger which triggered communal riots throughout India.

And after a series of excavations and studies by various organizations like Indian Council of Historical Research, there were strong evidences which stated the existence of a larger temple. Pillar bases, inscriptions and the architecture belonged to the Indian origin.

Ayodhya Ram Janma Bhoomi

At last in the year 2010 Allahabad court was convinced to share the place of 2.77 acres to the places of Ram Janma Bhoomi and Babri Mosque.

On 30th September 2010 the court pronounced its verdict allotting 2 parts to Ram Mandir and one part of the place to Babri Mosque. We sacrificed our land and our tradition for communal peace.

Now the construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya is one important thing that has to be done to preserve the birthplace of Lord Rama.

The very place where Rama grew up, his soft feet walked to glory, where he transformed in to a warrior and also stood as a common man leaving behind everything to follow his father’s words.

Such important place has to be safeguarded well to present the legacy to the coming generations.

Ayodhya Ram Janma Bhoomi

This is not all. Over 60, 000 temples were destroyed due to muslim invasions. Many historical and religious monuments were brought down without mercy.

But Hindus watched it silently over ages. Now, we need to develop three places namely Ram Janma Bhoomi, Ayodhya, Krishna Janma Bhoomi, Madhura and the temple of Kasi Vishwanatha at Varanasi.

It is just 3 out of 60,000. Who wouldn’t want a waiver of 60,000 for a mere payment of 3! Hinduism never preaches to attack but to defend. We need to defend our culture, tradition and values. Take a vow now and stand for the supreme Hinduism.
