Story of king Dilip and Kamadhenuvu

King Dilip who is the ancestor of Sri Rama is known as winner and ruler of the world. His wife is Sudhikshana Devi. They don’t have children from a long time. Worrying about his situation King Dilip expressed his worry with Vasishta muni. Then Vasista muni replied like this “Dear king! When you go to Indra lokam you didn’t offer Namaskar to Kamadhenuvu which is there near Kalpa vruksha. With all your busy work you forgot this but Kamadhenuvu warned you. But you are not able to hear that because of the speed of your vehicle. So for this, you were affected with a dosha. That is the reason for you not having children.
