Where did Lord Narasimha Swami go after killing the demon Hiranya Kashyapa?

Narasimha swami’s incarnation is the 4^th one among the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu.  He came out of the pillar very furiously and killed Hiranya Kashyapa. Seeing this incident, all the deities got frightened. They thought that all the worlds get destroyed due to his anger. Listening to all the prayers of the deities, Lord Shiva incarnated as sharabha.
