Yantrodharaka Anjaneya
Lord Hanuman is blessed to be an immortal and he lives to the end of the universe. Lord Hanuman has many manifestations like Panchamukha or five faced Hanuman, Saptamukha or seven faced Hanuman, Bala Hanuman, Dhyananjaneya and the list goes on. But we can see the symbolism of Hanuman who is bond to a yantra where he manifested himself into a yantra at only one place. That is none other than Yantroddharaka Hanuman.
1. Where is it located and who installed it?
Karnataka is the birth state of Madhva Tradition. Vyasrayaru was a great philosopher, madhvacharya, and a great devotee of Lord Hanuman. He belonged to the period of Saluva Narasimharayalu of 15th century. He journeyed through out the country and built 732 temples of Lord Hanuma. First of them is the temple of Yantroddharaka Hanuman built in Chakrateertham on the banks of river Tungabhadra near Hampi in Karnataka.
